The team of the second edition of the InterFaith Tour would be happy to meet your organisations and your networks and connections while we travel around the world. You will find below a brief description of our project and our route (please note that the list of cities is not exhaustive and that these will be only our stopping places) which you can disseminate to others. We thank you in advance and invite you to send your replies to contact@interfaithtour.com.or Team2@interfaithtour.com
The InterFaith Tour is the world tour of interfaith initiatives. For 10 months, Lucie (Christian), Samir (Muslim), Ariane (atheist) and Lea (Jewish) will cross no fewer than 34 countries to meet the interfaith initiatives to understand, question and value them and to put them in network between themselves.

This trip will be followed by two months of conferences to report on our experience.  An important step will be our visit to the Conference of INGOs. We work with the French and European diplomatic networks (Council of Europe and Ministry of Foreign Affairs) to bring back with us mechanisms for interfaith solutions when we return to France and Europe.

The InterFaith Tour is the initiative of Coexist, a French interfaith youth movement, which acts throughout France via three pillars: dialogue (conferences, dinners, conversation groups on the themes of religion, inter-religion, secularism ..), solidarity (solidarity actions in partnership with other organizations such as blood donations with the Red Cross, food distribution with the Secours Populaire ... by mobilising our members through their communities, religious or not) and awareness (interventions in colleges, high schools and universities to deconstruct prejudices related to religions and initiate a reflection on them).

Interfaith is understood by Coexist as a means and not as an end; it is inclusive and invites believers and non-believers (a large part of our members are atheist or agnostic).

We sleep in people's homes wherever we go.
We seek two types of contacts:

  • People who can offer us accommodation (for 4 persons!)
  • People who can redirect us towards or are directly involved in institutions / associations / interfaith networks or linked to them
