Jean-Marie Heydt, President of the Conference of INGOs, attended the 124th session of the Committee of Ministers held in Vienna on 5 and 6 May 2014. The Council of Europe is the continent’s leading human rights organisation. It includes 47 member states, 28 of which are members of the European Union. All Council of Europe member states have signed up to the European Convention on Human Rights, a treaty designed to protect human rights, democracy and the rule of law.

During the winter session of the Conference of the INGO of the Council of Europe, the delegation of Pax Romana consisted of:
