On March 14th,  a group of  Pax Romana leaders and friends met to reflect on the state of the movement in the region and to explore ways forward in preparation for this year’s Assembly process. Participants joined from seven countries, including from the Community Action Network (CAN-Malaysia);  the Ikatan Sarjana Katolik Indonesia (ISKA, Indonesian Catholic graduates association); and ICMICA groups and friends in Nepal; Myanmar; India; Hong Kong and Pakistan.

Participants shared about the challenge of lay organizing in the church and in civil society in this difficult time with COVID and the political dynamics in several countries.

We will be following up with other consultations in the region in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
