The year 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! Celebrated on the 22nd of April, this year’s
theme is “climate action.” Climate change represents the biggest challenge to the future of humanity
and the life-support systems that make our world habitable.

What can we do?

While the coronavirus CoViD-19 pandemic may force us to keep our distance, it will not force us to keep
our voices down! We may be physically apart, but through digital media, we are more connected than
ever. In a joint Pax Romana effort, both IMCS & ICMICA invite you to contribute your voice for the 24 hours of action in a worldwide digital mobilization. Actions both big and small are encouraged. Let’s fill the digital landscape with global conversations, calls to action, performances, visual arts, video classrooms, and more.
Even though we are not able to gather in our local and national groups, our goal remains the same: to
mobilize our movements to take the most meaningful actions to make a difference. No matter where
you are, you can make a difference. And you’re not alone, because together, we can save the Earth…
and each other.
